Ex-Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas Has Passed Away At Age 33

Earlier this evening rumors began circulating that former Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas has passed away.

Benjamin Allbright, who covers the Denver Broncos has confirmed the rumors:

I just emailed Demaryius Thomas position coach while he was at West Laurens High School – Jeff Clayton.

The rumors first circulated on Facebook, when allegedly Thomas’ relatives posted a Rest In Peace message.

Early reports are that Thomas passed due to a medical issue, with no foul play suspected.

The 33-year-old Thomas was the 22nd pick in the 2010 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos. He was apart of the Broncos 2015 Super Bowl team. In nine seasons, Thomas racked up 9,763 receiving yards and 63 receiving touchdowns.
