The Maryland Terrapins are in Columbus on Saturday to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes in a matchup of two unbeaten Big 10 teams.
The game started but five minutes in was stopped for an unusual delay.
With a little less than 10 minutes to go in the first quarter, both teams were sent to the sideline. A referee announced that a drone was spotted above the stadium, causing the delay:
After a few awkward moments, the players were allowed back on the field and the game resumed.
Ohio State is looking to move to 5-0 in their first game since their dramatic win over Notre Dame two weeks ago. Maryland, who is also unbeaten is looking to get a signature win as they remain unranked in the AP poll because of the quality of completion they’ve faced.
