Joe Burrow added some spice to the Bengals-Chiefs rivalry.
The Bengals quarterback joined Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce’s the New Heights Live Show on Thursday night on the University of Cincinnati and was about the rivalry with the Chiefs.
So why is it the NFL’s best rivalry and how has Burrow had success against Patrick Mahomes, Kelce and the Chiefs?
“We both work really hard at what we do. They got great players, we’ve got great players,” Burrow said. “I think we match up pretty well with them. We’re kind of built to beat them.
The two teams are set to play against each other again in 2024, with the game being held at Arrowhead Stadium. A date has not been finalized for it but it’ll likely be played in primetime whenever the date gets announced.
Burrow played in 10 games this past season before he was lost for the year with a torn wrist ligament. He finished with 2,309 yards through the air and 15 touchdowns.
