New York Jets cornerback Tae Hayes was arrested early Sunday morning in Alabama on possession of marijuana charges, according to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.
Hayes was booked and released after posting a $300 bond.
The New York Post contacted the Jets and were given this statement: “We are aware of the situation and we will refrain from further comment, as it is a pending legal matter.”
Hayes, 26, entered the league in 2019 as an undrafted free agent out of Appalachian State. He appeared in one game for the Jets in 2023.
