This is probably one of the craziest plays you’ll see.
Illinois Fightling Illini QB Luke Altmyer attempted to throw a pass but saw it be batted up by a Central Michigan defender and right back into his hands.
Altmyer decided to take off and run with it and had no where to go, sliding down and taking out the referee in the process.
Altmyer’s play came with :20 seconds to go in the first half and eventually led to a field goal that gave Illinois a 13-6 lead at the break in a game they went on to win, 30-9.
