REPORT: Chiefs Acquire Pass Rusher Josh Uche From New England Patriots

The Kansas City Chiefs defense just got stronger.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Chiefs have acquired pass rusher Josh Uche from the New England Patriots. The Chiefs will be sending a 2026 sixth-round pick in the trade.

Uche was a healthy scratch for the Patriots’ 25-22 victory over the New York Jets amid trade interest for the fifth-year outside linebacker.

Uche, 26, has two sacks in six games this season and 20.5 sacks in his career.

Uche re-signed with the Patriots as a free agent before the season on a one-year, $3 million deal. He will be an unrestricted free agent after this season.
