Penn State HC James Franklin Has Heated Exchange With Fan After Loss vs Ohio State

Penn State suffered yet another top 10 loss on Saturday, falling 20-13 to the Ohio State Buckeyes at home.

The loss all but eliminates their chances of controlling their own destiny in the Big Ten and makes the margin razor thin for their hopes of making the College Football Playoff.

More importantly, it’s yet another hit on head James Franklin’s resume, who is now 3-19 overall (1-7 at home) in big games against top ten teams.

After the loss, James Franklin was involved in a heated exchange with angry Nittany Lions, who are fed up with his shortcomings.

Despite the disappointments against top 10 teams, Franklin was still awarded a 10-year contract extension in 2021 worth $75 million so it seems unlikely that Penn State would fire him any time soon.
