Rex Ryan Rips Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel Following Loss To Colts, Refers To Him As ‘Nerd Boy’

The Miami Dolphins were embarrassed in Week 1 at the hands of the Indianapolis Colts, 33-8.

The loss was a continuation of the bad vibes the Dolphins have carried all offseason that has led many to believe Mike McDaniel will be the first head coach fired this season.

During Monday’s edition of ESPN’s Get Up, Rex Ryan didn’t mince words when asked about McDaniel, referring to him as ‘nerd boy’ and proclaiming that no one in the Dolphins locker room respects him.

“McGenius or whatever the hell he is, nerd boy. Their team has no respect for their coach, they play like that.. they’re soft, every part of their football team.”

The team’s quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, completed just 14 of 23 passes for 114 yards to go along with two interceptions and a fumble lost. Tyreek Hill was a non-factor, having a quiet four receptions for 40 yards.

The vibes are bad around Miami right now and if the loses pile up, it’s only going to get worse.
