Backup quarterbacks in the NFL usually stay out of the limelight. For Chase Daniel, he’s made a lot of money doing exactly that.
Daniel decided to go undercover after one of Chicago’s training camp practices to see how many of his teammates he could dupe into thinking he was a fan when he asked for their autograph.
Fans lined up to snag some autographs of and Daniel was there as well, with a Mitch Trubisky jersey, a pair of dark shades and a Bears bucket hat.
The video shows exactly how hilarious it was:
Best way to go undercover in front of your own teammates at #BearsCamp?
A bucket hat, of course. pic.twitter.com/sCPc1Y8nI2— Chicago Bears (@ChicagoBears) August 7, 2018
While some of his teammates were able to pick up on who he was, it was pretty funny seeing some of his teammates have no clue!
