BREAKING: Former Detroit Lions WR Charles Rogers Has Passed Away At Age 38

Former Michigan State Spartan and Detroit Lions’ WR Charles Rogers has passed away at the age of 38.

The news broke on Twitter when Rogers’ former teammates all paid their respect:

Rogers spent two seasons at Michigan State, hauling in 135 receptions or 2,821 yards and a school record 27 touchdowns. He was the No. 2 pick in the 2003 NFL Draft and signed a $39.5 million contract with the Detroit Lions.

Unfortunately, his NFL career spiraled when Rogers suffered two broken collarbones in his first two seasons, he also failed drug tests and was suspended for marijuana use.
