There are millions of people across the country who subscribe to DirecTV for the sole purpose to access NFL Sunday Ticket, as they are the only provider to allow fans to watch every single NFL game.
However, it seem like every week, thousands of subscribers run into some type of trouble on Sunday’s. That was the case on Sunday, as people took to Twitter to voice their frustration with the cable provider.
Many people, who have already paid for the service were being prompted to pay $49.99 to watch today’s game. DirecTV’s response has been limited to telling their subscribers to reset their receivers and try again.
However, this did not fix the issue for all.
If anyone is getting DirecTV alerts to spend $49.99 on Sunday Ticket games, just restart your receiver and the messages will go away.

The NFL has an out-clause with their deal with DirecTV and all indications are they will opt-out.
