The Pro Bowl safety was the center of trade talks all afternoon as the Dallas Cowboys were in pursuit of him.
Ultimately, nothing came of it.
The Pro Bowl safety took to Twitter to deny any reports that he had requested a trade from the Jets:
General Manager Joe Douglas met with reporters following the 4pm deadline and gave his side of the story, saying the Jets received calls about Adams but weren’t “shopping” him:
