The Dolphins were looking to capitalize on their 10-5 season in 2016 behind the progression of quarterback Ryan Tannehill, but it appears as if that responsibility will belong to Jay Cutler now.
According to Yahoo Sports, following multiple reports of mutual interest, the Dolphins and Cutler agreed to terms on a 1-year contract worth $13 million.
The former Chicago Bears quarterback will put his broadcasting career on hold and reunite with his former offensive coordinator turned head coach of the Dolphins, Adam Gase.
