Kicker Roberto Aguayo Cut By The Chicago Bears

In the span of just 16 months, Roberto Aguayo went from the most prolific kicker in college football history to unemployed.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Aguayo was released by the Chicago Bears on Saturday during the team’s final roster cut.

The Bears picked the 23-year-old kicker up earlier during preseason after he was cut by the Buccaneers, but decided to release him too after missing his only field goal attempt of the preseason.

The Buccaneers of course infamously traded up to draft him in the second round during the 2016 NFL Draft.
