UCF is looking to string together back-to-back undefeated seasons, but they’ll have to do so without their starting quarterback the rest of the way.
McKenzie Milton was carted off the field after suffering a gruesome leg injury during the second quarter of Friday’s against USF.
Milton suffered the injury while scrambling to attempt to pick up a first down on third-and-7 during the 2nd quarter, taking a huge blow to his knee from a South Florida defender.

Teammates gathered around and prayed in solidarity as Milton was loaded onto a stretcher headed for the locker room and eventually the hospital.
