DeAndre Hopkins will play a playoff game against the Colts Saturday with more than just winning in mind.
Jazmine Barnes was tragically gunned down by a man during a drive-by shooting in Houston, Texas over the weekend. Banes was riding in the car with her mother and three sisters on their way to the grocery store Sunday morning when she was struck and killed.
The Texans star WR who is the proud father of a 5-year-old girl heard about the news and has pledged his playoff game check ($29,000) to the family of Jazmine to cover any costs associated with burying her.
When I see Jazmine Barnes’ face, I see my own daughter. I’m pledging my playoff check this week to help her family with funeral costs and to support @shaunking @SherriffED_HCSO @SylvesterTurner in bringing this man to justice. On Saturday, I will be playing in your honor, Jazmine pic.twitter.com/oCRYSgfGO9

The gunman still remains at large and is described to be a white male in his 40s who was driving a red or maroon pickup truck. The reward for his capture now stands at $100,000.
“It won’t bring back a person, so I’m not trying to make it all about me or anything like that. But the least I could do was help out,” Hopkins added.
Hopkins spoke to the media regarding the matter after practice on Thursday.
