REPORT: Colin Kaepernick Interested In Signing With Dolphins

After the Miami Dolphins traded quarterback Ryan Tannehill to the Titans and failed to sign free agent quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, they are left with only Luke Falk and Jake Rudock, who have combined for five regular-season pass attempts, so it’s obvious Miami is in the market for a quarterback.

There are still some not-so inspiring options available in free agency, including Brock Osweiler, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Blake Bortles as the Dolphins search for their next franchise quarterback in either next month’s 2019 NFL Draft or in 2020 when Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa will be eligible.

There’s also that guy, Colin Kaepernick, who remains a free agent and now that he’s settled his collusion case, he’s hoping to get another NFL opportunity.

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that Kaepernick is interested in the Dolphins job.

“Yes, he’s training hard and ready to play,” a source close to the quarterback told La Canfora.

Kaepernick has been out of the league since 2016.
