Rutgers Football Honor Two Wheelchair-Bound Fans

Rutgers ended their Spring Football Game in the classiest way possible: 11-year old Danny Garofalo and 16-year-old Matt DeRiggi are suffering from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (disorder that breaks down the muscles and eventually weakens the heart and lungs).

The two boys have been long-time Rutgers football fans and even attend practice often. At the conclusion of Saturday’s Spring Football Game, The Scarlet Knights ran a trick play where quarterback Gary Nova hands the ball of to DeRiggi, who got the ball to Garofalo on the reverse, with the help of blockers, Garofalo took the ball to the house for touchdown.

A special moment that was worth the celebration. Salute to Rutgers for the classy gesture!

  1. Greetings! I know this is kinda off topic but I’d figured I’d ask. Would you be interested in exchanging links or maybe guest writing a blog post or vice-versa? My blog covers a lot of the same subjects as yours and I think we could greatly benefit from each other. If you happen to be interested feel free to send me an e-mail. I look forward to hearing from you! Wonderful blog by the way!|

  2. Yesterday, while I was at work, my cousin stole my apple
ipad and tested to see if it can survive a forty foot drop,
just so she can be a youtube sensation. My apple
ipad is now broken and she has 83 views. I know this is totally off topic but I had to share
    it with someone!

  4. I’m impressed, I have to admit. Genuinely rarely should i encounter a weblog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you may have hit the nail about the head. Your idea is outstanding; the problem is an element that insufficient persons are speaking intelligently about. I am delighted we came across this during my look for something with this.
