Picture Of Jeremy Lane’s Gruesome Broken Arm

Jeremy Lane, though not as popular has his Sherman and LOB counterparts, is an integral part of the best defense in the NFL. During the first quarter of Super Bowl XLIX, Lane intercepted Tom Brady on an arid pass over the middle only to break his arm on what looks like a gruesome compound fracture after returning the ball the other way. We now know why they didn’t show the replay live. Lane is obviously out for the remainder of the game.

  1. A little wisdom from the world of physics: Never stick your arm out to break a fall, because that’s what you’re bound to do (i.e., break your arm). When falling, you need to bring the arms in and roll like a ball.

    • I’m pretty sure they are professionals (lol) at knowing how to get tackled or fall. It’s a really important part of being a football player. Of course, when you do, there’s a good chance you don’t know where your body is physically located, etc.

      • Using the shoulders and upper torso muscles to absorb the bulk of the force from
falling will be superior to throwing one’s arms out. The rolling of the body
during impact will help protect one from injuring the head and potentially
knocking oneself out. Stunt-men/women use this technique to their advantage on
        Hollywood sets.

    • I had this exact break happen to me. Crazy but because of adrenaline and perhaps some shock, I didn’t feel pain (until I got to the hospital) even though I knew it was a gruesome break. It appears he didn’t either as he just walked off the field in an air cast. 2 metal plates and 12 screws permanently in my arm now. Wish him a speedy recovery.

      • The hell you say, you fucktard. Compare the Patriot lost helmet to the 1st and 2nd pics….did it magically rotate? Open your in-bred eyes and you can find all kinds of glaring differences between the photos, or do I need to point out each and every one to you. And, a broken arm DOES NOT curve like that. Crawl back in your hole, assbag.

        • You do know the helmet was moving and not just floating still in mid air and the photos were taken from a completely different angle don’t you? Go to google and type in “ufc broken leg” When the bones break the rest just bends. Go back to school you fucking retard.

          • Even if the photos were taken at the EXACT instant of impact (which the photos suggest), and were taken from SLIGHTLY different angles, please explain these…….the photographer in tan vest on the right has in arm in different positions. The official next to the orange yard marker has one leg raised in second photo and not the first and third, and speaking of the yard marker, where is it in pic 2? The standing guy in jeans at left in pic one is suddenly kneeling in pic two. The guy with tan pants behind the pole in 1, also kneeling, is gone from 2, as are the green cargo pants next to him. You see a bit of blue jeans and shoes directly to the left of his Lane’s arm in pic two, but not pic one and three. Also missing from photo 2, again to the left of his arm, is a bit of white butt(?) and a black object (camera lens?) In pic two, gray pants have taken the place of the Patriot coach/assistant/whatever’s striped pants. Oh yeah, the face mask on the helmet has magically changed position. I do agree that a broken bone can indeed curve the limb, but why then, does it not show the same degree of curvature in all three pics? Please enlighten me, oh wise one.

  7. Rei Dalio, the founder of the Bridgewater Joint Fund, known as the “father of the hedge fund,” said that capitalism is no longer applicable to most Americans. He said that the widening gap between the rich and the poor is creating a turbulent environment that has a disturbing resemblance to the economic and social unrest in the 1930s.
