Now you’d think that any team’s fanbase wanting Tim Tebow to start at quarterback would be absurd, but when Mark Sanchez is your current starter…maybe not so much.
In light of the draft today, and the team without a starting QB yet, Broncos fans have started a petition to bring back quarterback Tim Tebow, currently out of an NFL job.

Created by Colorado resident and presumable Broncos fan Will Garner, the reasoning behind the petition is listed as:
“The Denver Broncos have lost their two main quarterbacks from their epic 2016 Super Bowl Championship winning season. We need a proven winner to continue to move this team in the right direction. Coach Gary Kubiak’s offense would thrive with Tebow under center. He and the legendary John Elway can make this happen. We dont need a subpar throwaway from some other team, we need an original Bronco who has the fire, desire, and love of the game to play as a Bronco again! As a bonus the Bronco fans would be ecstatic! He just wins, we all know this! #TebowTime”
Many remember Tebow’s walk-off playoff game TD pass that sent the NFL into a frenzy, but it was all downhill from there, both as a Broncos, and an NFL player. Sanchez has actually had a high QB rating (88.6) with his former team, the Eagles then Tebow has during his time as a Bronco (75.1)
