Oklahoma linebacker Eric Striker was surrounded by his family and friends during Day 3 of the NFL Draft hoping that the phone would ring and Striker would get to live his dream and be drafted into the NFL.
Unfortunately, that phone call didn’t come and the Sooners LB went undrafted after a productive career, but the ESPN cameras were rolling when and Striker’s message to his family and friends was captured after the realization set in that he was going undrafted.
Striker, one of the Sooners’ leaders for the past few seasons gave a touching speech to his guests and despite not being drafted left a positive message for his family and friends.

Shortly after, Striker signed as an UDFA with the Buffalo Bills.
