Draymond Green just slapped a man out of college.
After a weekend where we saw the star Golden State Warriors center arrested for assaulting a Michigan State football player, that player, (safety Mark Meyers) will reportedly be forgoing the rest of his college football career in East Lansing.
According to SB Nation’s Hustle Belt, the Meyers has decided to leaving Michigan State for Miami University (Ohio) as a graduate transfer. Meyers did not immediately respond to a message asking to confirm his transfer or the exact reason for his decision.
Signing with the Spartans out of Toledo (Ohio) Whitmer in 2012, Meyers redshirted his first year on campus before playing mostly on special teams in 2013. The next year, Meyers recorded eight tackles in 13 games, also earning Academic All-Big Ten honors.
Last season, Meyers played in just two games and posted three total tackles after serving a six-game suspension for an OWI arrest.
