Brandon Marshall decided to continue the movement started this preseason by Colin Kaepenrick in protesting the National Anthem. The Broncos linebacker was the only one of the 106 players lined up to do so.
As one would imagine, Marshall was attacked on social media by those who have been vocal against Kaepernick and those who have chosen to not stand for the National Anthem.
I’d never wish a player get injured during a game so hopefully Brandon Marshall just gets hit by a bus.

since I saw the whole team standing, guess I’m rooting for the panthers. While also hoping brandon marshall tears an acl so he has to kneel

Call it karma, Marshall had to leave the game midway through the second quarter to be evaluated for a concussion after taking a blow to the head while attempting a tackle.
Kneel for the anthem. Take a seat now. Enjoy karma, @BMarshh54. #TNF pic.twitter.com/duUKDXG50a

Marshall has since been cleared and has returned to the sideline and is available.
You had to know Brandon Marshall would get cleared of a concussion, he proved before the game he has no intelligence #NFLKickoff #Broncos
