RGIII Trips Over Shadow During Warmups, Expected To Be Out For Remainder Of Season, All Of 2017

The optimistic hopes of Browns fans fueled by their free agent signing were dashed in week one when Griffin against the Eagles, ironically the team the Browns traded their top pick to in order to trade for Griffin.

Those hopes may be gone once again is it’s being reported by ESPN’s Adam schefter that about an hour prior to game time that Griffin tripped over his own shadow exiting the tunnel for warmups, spraining an eye lid.

He was immediately taken off the field to be examined in the locker room, with trainers suspecting the worst. Though no word has been made official, early reports are Griffin could miss the last four games of this season, along with all of next season.
