Eagles QB Carson Wentz stood nervously on the sideline Sunday as his 22-year-old rookie kicker lined up for what would be the longest field goal in franchise history if it went in.
Preparing for overtime, Wentz was so confident Jake Elliott wouldn’t make it, he told a teammate he would give him his game check ($32,000) if he did.
As we all know by now, it went through the uprights.
