If you were wondering what the seventh-longest punt in college football history looked like, here you go.
In the first quarter of Marshall’s game against Old Dominion, Herd punter Kaare Vedvik boomed off a 92-yard kick, from well inside his own end zone, to the opposite end zone.

Granted, the 30 yards of roll helped, but a punt traveling 75 yards through the air regardless is an insane feat.
The longest previous punt before Vedvik’s was in 1972, a whopping 46 years ago.
Kaare Vedvik’s 92-yard punt is the seventh-longest in FBS history and longest by an FBS punter in 45 years (based on available data): pic.twitter.com/2aseGHRmeE
