San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch have been trying to trade for Jimmy Garoppolo for a while now and tried just about everything to acquire the former Patriots backup.
After being shutdown by Belichick last offseason when asking for Garoppolo, Lynch then asked if he could trade for the Patriots starting quarterback.
