The Tampa Bay Buccaneers suffered a last-minute loss to the Panthers in Carolina, 22-19, today.
It’s been a difficult season for the Buccaneers, who many thought could make the playoffs in the NFC. It’s also been a tough year for QB Jameis Winston, who missed games due to a shoulder injury.
After the Panthers scored the go-ahead touchdown late in the fourth quarter, Winston fumbled the ball on the next possession, with Panthers DE Julius Peppers recovering it.
Winston, who thought he came up with the football went ballistic on the officials, shoving teammates and coaches during his tantrum.

Winston ultimately apologized to the official for his actions but after the game, he met with Peppers who seemingly agreed that he had recovered the fumble:
Refs call the ball for Carolina when @Jaboowins clearly had it. And peppers even admits it after 😂😂😂 NFL officiating getting out of control this year pic.twitter.com/ALuMkGy1sJ

You can’t excuse Winston’s actions but judging by Julius Peppers remarks in the clip, you can understand why Winston was so frustrated.
