I never thought I’d see the day the NFL flexes a Cowboys-Eagles game out of a national window in favor of another game but here we are.

On Monday, the NFL announced that this Sunday’s Week 17 game between the Cowboys and Eagles has been flexed out of the highly coveted 4:25 PM ET slot and instead will be at 1 p.m. ET.

The game that’s taking the spot of that NFC East heated rivalry? A NFC North showdown between the 13-2 Vikings and the 10-4 Packers, who play the Saints on Monday Night Football tonight.

The Eagles-Cowboys game doesn’t have nearly the playoff implications as the Vikings-Packers game so this makes sense but it’s wild to see the NFL demote a Cowboys game let alone a Cowboys game against the Eagles.
