Dez Bryant was headed towards becoming a member of the Browns this weekend tweeting about the team, flying to Cleveland to workout for the team, and even signing Browns gear for fans, but it no longer appears as if we’ll be seeing the three-time Pro Bowler in an orange uniform anytime soon.
According to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, “Bryant is no longer on the front burner” with the Browns, primarily due to Josh Gordon’s return to the team Saturday.
Cabot noted that while he’s still be on the “radar” for the team, they’re not expected to sign him.
Bryant was released by the Cowboys back in April.
