Bears’ Akiem Hicks Gets Ejected For Pushing Official vs Buccaneers

The Chicago Bears are so bored beating up on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they’ve decided to turn their attention to the NFL referees.

And that’s a pretty bad idea.

During the first half of today’s Bucs-Bears game, Bears standout defensive line Akiem Hicks was involved in an altercation with a couple of Bucs players after Eddie Jackson’s interception of Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Hicks was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct and ejected. Television replay footage, at an awkward angle, showed Hicks near an official in the aftermath of the play.

Hicks will face a fine of $33,425, per the league’s rule structure, and perhaps even a suspension.
