New York Giants backup quarterback Kyle Lauletta was arrested on Tuesday morning over an alleged traffic incident on his way to the team facility.
Police have now released more details regarding what led to the rookie being taken into custody and they are crazy.
According to a press release from the Weehawken Police Department, Lauletta was observed driving in a “dangerous manner” in heavy traffic and attempted to evade a police officer who told him to continue in his marked lane. In addition to that, Lauletta also made an illegal turn and nearly struck the officer with his vehicle and followed it up by refusing to follow the officer’s instructions when he was pulled over and asked for his information.

After pulling Lauletta over, officers discovered that he was involved in the same incident at the same location the previous day. Summonses were issued in the mail after he did not stop his vehicle at the scene on Monday.
The 23-year-old rookie, who many believed would get some playing time was charged with eluding police, obstructing justice and resisting arrest in-addition to multiple motor vehicle violations.
