This is great news.. for the rest of the NFC East.
Just when you thought the Dallas Cowboys couldn’t be more dysfunctional, Jerry Jones goes on his weekly radio show and admits that Dak Prescott will basically be his quarterback for years to come.
On Tuesday morning, following the Cowboys’ embarrassing 28-14 loss to the TItans on Monday Night Football, Jones doubles down on Dak being his quarterback for the future.
Jones revealed that he’s planning on giving Prescott a contract extension to make sure he’s the team’s quarterback for the future:
Jerry Jones on @1053thefan: “Listen Dak is the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys. He’s young and he’s going to get extended.”

In Monday’s loss, Prescott had two turnovers including a redzone interception. Both turnovers led to 14 points for the Titans.
Fans have grown extremely frustrated with Prescott this season, as he has taken a drastic step backwards since his historic rookie season. On the year, Prescott has thrown for 1,660 yards and 10 touchdowns, but has five interceptions and seven fumbles to go along with it.
We might not know Jason Garrett’s fate until after the season but one thing is for sure, Dak is probably not going anywhere.
