J.J. Watt’s season is over.
After suffering a chest injury during the Texans game against the Raiders in Houston Sunday, Watt went straight to the hospital for an MRI.
After being diagnosed with a torn pectoral muscle, Watt took to Twitter to announce that he will once again miss the remainder of the season due to injury.
This game can be beautiful and it can also be brutal. Absolutely gutted that I won’t be able to finish the season with my guys and give the fans what they deserve. I truly love this game and can’t stand letting you guys down. Thank you for all of the thoughts & well-wishes.

Unfortunate news for one of the best defenders and humanitarians in the NFL, as well as the Texans of course, who are making a playoff push at 5-3 and in second place in the AFC South.
