Brees is back.
The Saints QB announced that he will forego retiring and pay a 20th season in the NFL. Brees made the announcement via an Instagram post on Tuesday.

Brees and the Saints have gotten close to getting to the Super Bowl in the past few seasons, notoriously coming up short in 2018 after one of the worst calls in NFL history went in favor of the Rams.
New Orleans mentioned at the end of last season that they’d like Brees back, but see him in a transitional role to which they’ll work in possible future starter Taysom Hill.
It remains to be seen how Brees will be utilized nexts season.
