
As if there was any question that the hometown kid who put up arguably the greatest season up by any quarterback in college football history wasn’t going to have his named called with the Bengals had the first pick, it’s all but official.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Bengals president Mike Brown informed Joe Burrow that he will become the team’s new franchise quarterback in a letter prior to the 2020 NFL Draft.
Bengals president Mike Brown officially welcomed LSU QB Joe Burrow to Cincinnati on Wednesday, one day before the Draft. Brown sent Burrow a letter that said, amongst other things, that he looks forward “to building championship football teams with you for many years to come.”
