Jameis Winston’s tenure is Tampa was agonizingly frustrating.
While on one play the Bucs quarterback would look like the National Championship, No. 1 overall pick he was, and the next, throw a beautiful touchdown pass…to the other team.
With your quarterback tossing a whopping 30 interceptions in 2019, one would joke about him being blind – but for Winston, that wasn’t too far from the case.
Winston underwent Lasik eye surgery earlier this offseason to correct vision issues that had the QB struggling with depth perception and seeing for distance – just a few things that are somewhat important for being a quarterback.
Winston spoke on his sight post surgery in an interview with The Athletic, and noted how he can now read license plates and street signs.
