Scores Sports Bar has been torn to shreds by the Minneapolis riots following the death of George Floyd at the hands of police.

Buildings burned and windows broke as looters ravaged the city in the days following the incident, with the National Guard needing to be called in to regain control.

While most businesses being looted are established, big brands, some of the unfortunate fallout from the riots have been small business owners, owners which include KB Balla.

Balla was set to open his sports bar until COVID-19 struck, putting the grand opening on pause. Following the riots for George Floyd, he’s has been forced to start over again. Balla started a GoFundMe campaign in order to gather some financial compensation, and after video of him weeping in the aftermath on Thursday morning made its way around the internet, the campaign took off, surpassing $350,000 in just under 48 hours.
