During the their quarter of Sunday’s game against the Washington Football team, the Dallas Cowboys saw another quarterback go down with injury and it was just as scary.
Andy Dalton tried to do what he could and run for a first time. He slid when the time was right for him as all quarterbacks do but was laid with a vicious hit by Washington’s Jon Bostic.
The hit knocked Dalton out of the game and led to an ejection. It was a clear dirty play.
Following the game, Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy was asked about Bostic’s hit and said he didn’t like how his players reacted to it by not getting into Bostic’s face:
