On Thursday, Trevor Lawrence will be selected No. 1 overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars and all offically become an NFL player.
But Lawrence isn’t waiting until Thursday to cash in on some endorsements.
The overwhelming favorite for the No. 1 overall pick in the draft, has signed a multi-year endorsement deal with the cryptocurrency investment app Blockfolio. The terms of his deal hasn’t been disclosed, but Lawrence did receive a signing bonus that was paid out entirely in crypto and deposited into his Blockfolio account:
Future payments, however, are subject to whatever combination of dollars and cryptocurrency the future Jacksonville Jaguars QB desires, according to DealBook.
In addition, Lawrence has already signed an endorsement deal with Gatorade.
