Newly-acquired guard Quenton Nelson will miss Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals after undergoing a minor procedure on his knee. Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald announced that Nelson is week-to-week but will not go on injured reserve.
Nelson aggravated an existing issue during his Seattle debut in Monday’s loss to the Chicago Bears, just 10 days after being traded from the Indianapolis Colts.
With the Seahawks on a Week 11 bye following this weekend, the team hopes to have him back when they face the San Francisco 49ers on November 19.
To adjust the line, Grey Zabel will shift to left guard, while Anthony Bradford returns to his previous spot at right guard.
In other injury news, Drew Lock is on track to start at quarterback in place of Sam Darnold (elbow). Seattle will also be without defensive tackle Leonard Williams, wide receiver Rashid Shaheed, and linebacker Uchenna Nwosu for Sunday’s 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff against Arizona.
