The Denver Broncos have added another quarterback.
According to ESPN Adam Schefter, the Denver Broncos have acquired Teddy Bridgewater from the Carolina Panthers in exchange for a 2021 sixth round pick.
Carolina will pay a portion of Bridgewater’s 2021 compensation as part of a restructured contract to finalize the deal with Denver, which now has competition for Drew Lock, as well as options with the No. 9 pick.
The 28-year-old Louisville product started 15 games for the Panthers last season, passing for 3,733 yards and 15 touchdowns.
