This is so messed up.
Former Austin Peay cornerback Juantarius Bryant thought he was going to be able to get the opportunity to live out his dream by making an NFL roster, only to be duped by a cruel prank.
Bryant got a text from who he thought was Falcons defensive coordinator Dean Pees, inviting Bryant to Atlanta’s three-day rookie minicamp only to arrive and find out that he was the victim of a hoax.
Bryant released the following message over Twitter explaining what happened:
Hopefully someone gives the aspiring NFL safety a real opportunity in the near future. Things are hard enough for undrafted free agents, being cat-fished by an impostor defensive coordinator is just throwing salt in the wound.
