Isaiah Wilson really does not seem interested in having much of an NFL career.
The former first round pick’s career took another hit when the New York Giants — who have one of the worst offensive lines in the National Football League — released him from their practice squad.
According to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, Wilson was released because he was falling asleep’s during meetings:
The former Tennessee Titans offensive lineman and 2020 first-round pick was on his third team since being drafted as he also spent time with the Miami Dolphins after he was traded there. That only lasted days before they got rid of him.
Last week, the Giants offensive line coach Rob Sale seemingly criticized Isaiah Wilson, offering a “no comment” when asked about his progress with the team, adding that Wilson needs to be more “dependable.”
Wilson signed with the Giants practice squad back in September. He was called up to the active roster for one game during the team’s Week 16 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
