A Mic’d Up Travis Kelce Helped Orchestrate The Entire Chiefs 13 Second Game-Tying Drive vs Bills

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was mic’d up during Sunday’s divisional-round win over the Buffalo Bills and we are now learning that he played a vital role in the Chiefs’ 0:13 second drive that they had to put them in field goal position to tie the game.

“10, 10,” Kelce shouted on the sideline. “They might man you up. I’m saying go outside and come back in like you’re running a route outside, that way when you come back in, I can get in the way.”

Sure enough, Kelce was the lead blocker for Hill on the play and kept Bills LB Tremaine Edmunds away long enough for a big gain by Hill.

Then, we actually get to hear what Kelce said to Mahomes that enabled the audible that got Kelce open and Kansas City into field goal range.

“Hey, hey,” Kelce said to Mahomes. “If they play it like that, that seam is open.”

The next play was Kelce making a grab up the seam and putting the Chiefs in field goal range.

The rest is history.
