Matt Stafford Responds To Sad Reality Of Having Bills Fans Take Over SoFi Stadium During Week 1 Loss

Los Angeles loves stars and winners and that’s exactly what the Rams are but for some reason, the sad reality of having away fans outnumber Rams fans at home games continues.

Not only did the Rams get thrashed by the Buffalo Bills, 31-10, during their Week 1 game last Thursday, but they had to deal with the fact that ‘Bills Mafia’ took over SoFi Stadium on a night where they were unveiling their Super Bowl banner.

After the game, Rams quarterback Matt Stafford was asked about it and he sadly admitted that they were expecting Bills fans to outnumber Rams fans and had to prepare with a silent count:

The Rams seem to be still trying to find their footing in Los Angeles and while many believed building star-studded roster highlighted by Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey and Cooper Krupp while also winning a Super Bowl would entice more Angelenos to attend games, it seems for at least Week 1 that is not the case.
