Dak Prescott Expected To Miss 6-8 Weeks Due To Hand Injury

The news for Cowboys fans just keeps getting worse.

During an embarrassing loss to the Buccaneers in the opening SNF game of the year, Dallas QB Dak Prescott suffered a hand injury that took him out of the game.

Not too long after the cocks struck 0:00, the prognosis was made public that Dak would need surgery and could miss several weeks.

Now, the prognosis has stretched to possibly half the season.

With Cooper Rush as their current backup, Dallas will more than likely trade for a veteran backup along the lines of Jimmy Garrppolo, Mason Rudolph, or Teddy Bridgewater.

While whomever they get will be serviceable, the Tyron Smith injury combined with Dak’s may force the Cowboys to trade away assets they otherwise wouldn’t have had to in order to plug those major holes.
