Thousands Of Chiefs Fans Were Lined up In The Early Morning Before Gates Open For ‘Thursday Night Football’ Game vs Chargers

Kansas City Chiefs fans took tailgating to another level on Thursday.

Nearly eight hours before kickoff and four hours before parking lot gates open at Truman Sports Complex (Arrowhead), Chiefs fans were already in line and they weren’t just waiting in their cars.

As the NFL Network’s James Palmer noted in the video below, Chiefs fans have started a “full-on tailgate before you tailgate.”

Chiefs fans are clearly quite excited about the first home game of the season against an AFC West rival in the Los Angeles Chargers. They’re also looking forward to getting a chance to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Arrowhead Stadium.
