ESPN Announces Week 3’s Cowboys-Giants Game Brought In Historic Ratings

Daniel Jones vs. Cooper Rush wasn’t the sexiest matchup on paper, but a ton of people still tuned it to watch the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants do battle.

ESPN shared their ratings numbers for their Week 3 broadcast of the Giants-Cowboys game and the numbers were astronomical.

19.3 million viewers tuned in and made it the most watched Monday Night Football Week 3 game that ESPN has ever broadcast. It was a 29-percent increase from last year’s broadcast.

ESPN’s broadcasts have been among their most-watched Monday night games ever.

In a battle between two NFC East rivals, it was the Cowboys who came out on top at MetLife Stadium.

Cooper Rush delivered again as he led his team to a second-half surge and ultimately handing the Giants their first loss of the season. He moves to 3-0 as an NFL starter, becoming just the fourth Dallas quarterback to go undefeated in his first three games.

CeeDee Lamb finished with 8 catches for 87 yards and a spectacular one-handed touchdown grab.
