Brandin Cooks Basically Threatened The Texans After They Failed To Trade Him Prior To Deadline

Brandin Cooks hates it here.

The NFL Trade Deadline came and gone, and the veteran wide receiver shockingly remains a member of the Houston Texans despite being rumored to garner interest from multiple teams.

Cooks took to Twitter to express his displeasure with the Texans, even going as far to threaten the organization:

A big reason why the Texans were unable to trade Cooks was because of his huge contract. He has two-years, $39.7 million remaining and is under contract until 2024.

The Texans traded a second-round pick in the upcoming draft to the Rams for Cooks and a 2022 fourth-round pick. He has ben a remarkable player ever since. The team likely wanted something similar back.

The Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Rams, New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings were all rumored to be in consideration to land Cooks.
